Monitor: My monitor is kinda old one and doesn’t support 10-bit and it’s connected through the DVI port of the GTX 1660 ti GPU.SSD: Samsung SSD 500GB and 250GB 970 EVO M.2.GPU: GeForce GTX 1660 Ti AERO ITX 6G OC - MSI.So I think this issue has something to do with it.ĭoes anyone have the same issue or know any workarounds for this issue? I heard that since v14.3.2, Premiere Pro requires full 10-bit support through OpenGL in order to run properly. I tried multiple older Nvidia studio drivers but no luck. I suppose the freezes happen only when premiere pro uses GPU. Get regular updates for creators by subscribing to the NVIDIA Studio newsletter and following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

But when I downgrade Premiere Pro 2020 to lower than v13.1, the freeze does not happen anymore. Download the May Studio Driver (release 462.59) today through GeForce Experience or from the driver download page to get the latest optimizations for the new Studio laptops and applications. With the Nvidia studio driver and Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration enabled, Premiere Pro 2020, higher than v13.2 make the project monitor freeze when resizing the mask area or applying Lumetri Color effects. I recently bought GTX 1060 Ti and installed the latest Nvidia studio driver (v456.38).
